Dear Colleague,

in the context of the 26th Conference on Computational Methods in Water Resources, (CMWR) that will be held from June 28th to July 2nd 2026 in Bologna (Italy), we would like to drawn your attention to the Session 15:

"Advances in integrating surface and subsurface hydrological modeling"

The session, which includes oral and poster presentations, welcomes contributions on advances in integrated hydrological modeling, including better representations and coupling of physical and biogeochemical processes (e.g., recharge processes, snow melting, transport and transformation of nutrients and carbon), the integration of AI and ML, data assimilation, as well as case studies covering the wide range of scales where surface and subsurface integration plays a key role.
