Call for application for EGU Hydrological Sciences Early Career Scientists (ECS) co-representative

Hi everyone,

I’d like to highlight a new call from the European Geosciences Union (EGU) Hydrological Sciences Division for their next Early Career Scientist (ECS) Representative. Please read this blogpost to know more about the call Hydrological Sciences | Are you our next HS Early Career Scientist Representative?

EGU's HS Division is seeking a new Early Career Scientist (ECS) representative for a two-year term (2026–2027): first year as co-rep, second year as main rep. The role is focused on coordinating the ECS team: managing blogs, podcasts, webinars and social-media. This is a great opportunity to connect broadly across the hydrology community and to enhance visibility and professional skills.  

To apply,  send a CV + a one-page motivation letter explaining your experience, skills and vision for the ECS team to: ecs...@egu.eu. Deadline: 30 November 2025, 17:00 CET. To qualify, you have to be an Early Career Scientist (<7 years since completion of PhD). You do not have to be an existing ECS team member.
