Dear All,
We are excited to share that the Department of Hydrology, IIT Roorkee, is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. We have planned many events throughout the year.
One of them is the Water Techfest, "PRAVAAHA" (प्रवाह) - the first of its kind to be organized by the Department of Hydrology, from 20th March to 22nd March 2022.
Pravaaha aims to promote awareness and create creative and innovative thinking among the students and practitioners as the water sector grows to new challenges every day. We plan to reach out to students and practitioners from multiple disciplines all over India and abroad to discuss the growing concern relating to water in our society and everyday life.
Various competitive events are designed, such as Idea Presentations (Aquaspark), Data Sciences (Data Wrangling), GIS applications (Bhiuchitra), Debates (Sailab). Workshop and Talks from the eminent personalities and veterans from the top institutions of India, too, are planned. Details about the event are available on the official website: www.pravaaha.info.
