EGU 2025 - Stable isotopes to study water and nutrient dynamics in the soil-plant-atmosphere continuum

Dear colleagues,

We would like to invite you to submit an abstract to the EGU2025 session entitled “HS10.10 Stable isotopes to study water and nutrient dynamics in the soil-plant-atmosphere continuum”, taking place in Vienna and online from the 27 April to 2 May 2025.

This session explores the latest advances in methods, applications, and process interpretations using stable isotopes to trace fluxes of water and nutrients within the critical zone. It also fosters interaction and exchange between researchers interested in stable isotopes, plant physiology, and critical zone science.

We welcome experimental and modeling studies, including methodological developments and applications, that increase our understanding of water and nutrient exchanges at the soil-plant-atmosphere interfaces.

Both oral and poster presentations are welcome to our session.
