Academic position (Lecturer/Assistant Professor) in Hydrology at University Freiburg

Since the person currently holding this position has been offered a Full Professorship (W3), I am looking for a highly motivated young scientist with goals and ideas for independent research that complements and expands the current research at the Chair of Hydrology in Freiburg (http://www.hydro.uni-freiburg.de). Possible research areas include ecohydrology, solute transport processes, qualitative hydrological modelling and interaction of hydrological systems.

The full-time position for three years will be at the rank of an Assistant Professor (A13 non-tenure track) and an extension for another three years is foreseen (6 years total). The position provides the opportunity to obtain a „habilitation“. Starting date is 1 Sept 2023.
