This session addresses the multifaceted water challenges across Africaās diverse climates, ecosystems, and socio-economic conditions. Discover recent advances and innovative approaches in hydrology research and practice, including:
š¹Ā Large and unconventional data
š¹Ā Remote sensing
š¹Ā Machine learning
š¹Ā Advances in modeling
š¹Ā Uncertainty reduction
š¹Ā Climate and land use change impacts
š¹Ā Hydroclimatic extremes (floods, droughts, etc.)
š¹Ā Decision support systems
š¹Ā WEFE nexus
š¹Ā Digital twins for simulating hydrological systems
We also welcome studies integrating traditional knowledge, Indigenous practices, and community-based approaches in water management.
Foster knowledge exchange and collaboration among scientists and practitioners. We encourage interdisciplinary contributions and welcome fundamental and applied research, including case studies.
