Dear all,
I am pleased to share that we are organizing a scientific session titled:
“Unravelling Changing Atmospheric and Oceanic Interactions for Hydro-Meteorological Extremes Prediction”
(Theme-7: Synthesis – Data and Modelling)
at the XII INQUA Congress 2027, scheduled to be held in Lucknow, India, from 28 January to 3 February 2027.
This session aims to bring together researchers working on the evolving interactions between atmospheric and oceanic processes and their implications for hydro-meteorological extremes such as floods, droughts, cyclones, and extreme rainfall events. We particularly welcome contributions that integrate observational datasets, climate model simulations, data-driven approaches, and statistical modelling to enhance predictability and early warning systems.
Topics of interest include (but are not limited to):
We warmly invite researchers, faculty members, early-career scientists, and students from your group to submit abstracts and contribute to this session.
📌 Last Date for Abstract Submission: 15 February 2026 (to be extended)
📌 Abstract Submission Link: https://lnkd.in/gm3iYVTV
📌 Session Details: https://www.inquaindia2027.in/sessions/s-093
We would be delighted to see strong participation from the hydrology and hydro-climate research community.
Please feel free to circulate this call within your department and professional networks.
With kind Regards,
Dr. Divya Sardana,
