We are looking to hire two postdoctoral researchers to join our group here at Ohio State University working at the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center in Wooster, Ohio, USA.
Broadly, these research positions will look at characterizing water and environmental impacts associated with agricultural practices (1) across fields and farms and (2) under controlled production environments. These postdoctoral researchers will plug into ongoing hydrology and agricultural water quality research efforts and conduct field work contributing to cross-disciplinary projects assessing environmental and economic impacts of agricultural diversification.
Candidates experienced in working with hydrological and environmental instrumentation, in-field measurement techniques, sample collection/processing, and data coordination/analysis are encouraged to apply. Backgrounds in agricultural engineering, hydrology, or equivalent fields are required. Strong knowledge of water movement within managed agricultural landscapes and/or controlled growing environments is desired.
If you are interested and would like to learn more, please contact Steve Lyon (lyon...@osu.edu) with a short message and CV.
Take care
Steve
