IAHS ACADEMY 2027
PhD students and young researchers are invited to apply by submitting the
application
form to participate to the second edition of the International Association of Hydrological Sciences (IAHS) Academy co-organized by the
International Association of Hydrological Sciences (IAHS), UNESCO Intergovernmental Hydrological Programme (IHP),
UNESCO World Water Assessment Programme (WWAP), World Meteorological Organization (WMO), the
Eastern Institute of Technology, Ningbo (EIT) and Tsinghua University, Beijing
Dates and venue
IAHS Academy highlights: 6 courses in parallel for 5 full days of lectures and hands (January 12-16).
First day (January 11) and last day (January 17) in plenary mode gathering
in-presence in one place at the same time a critical mass of young scientists, keynote lecturers and high level speakers selected by co-organizers IAHS, UNESCO IHP, UNESCO WWAP, WMO and by the IAHS Academy Steering Committee.

Course fees
The course fee is EURO 650.00.
The fee includes the course lectures and materials, accommodation, lunches and dinners, and coffee breaks during classes. Please note that the course fee does NOT include the flight ticket to China/Ningbo, VISA for
China, or health insurance during the course period. Participants from Financially Disadvantaged Countries have access to a reduced fee of EURO 350.00. The list of countries based on UN indicators is

How to apply
Applicants shall provide the selected topic, all biographical information through the official online application form. Applications will be evaluated by the IAHS Academy Steering Committee and participants will be assigned to the selected short courses until
the maximum capacity is reached.
