Dear colleagues,
On behalf of the organizing committee, I would like to draw your attention to an international conference that our team is organizing and that is going to take place at TU Wien in Vienna, November 24-27 2026.
The 23rd IWA International Conference on Diffuse Pollution and Eutrophication (DIPCON 2026) focuses on advancing knowledge and solutions for diffuse water pollution across freshwater and coastal systems. Bringing together research on legacy and emerging contaminants, nutrient emissions, urban and agricultural pressures, and eutrophication, it highlights innovative monitoring, modelling, and management approaches. Emphasizing nature-based solutions, large river basin and coastal-scale strategies, and the interconnections between pollution, biodiversity, climate change, and water scarcity, the programme aims to foster integrated, science-based responses to today’s most pressing water quality challenges.
I encourage you to submit an abstract by June 5. The submission system is already up and running and you can find the link on the homepage. The registration system will open at a later stage, once we finalize a couple of missing details.
I would also kindly ask you to support us by actively advertising it in your networks. For instance, by sharing this LinkedIn post, or by distributing the attached flyer.
Kind regards
Associate Prof. Ottavia Zoboli
