Applications are invited for a full-time PhD position under the BITS Pilani × IISER Tirupati Joint PhD Programme, focused on land–atmosphere interactions and coupling metrics.
Eligibility: M.E./M.Tech./M.Sc. in Civil Engineering, Hydrology, Earth & Climate Sciences, Meteorology, Water Resources, or allied fields, with working knowledge of MATLAB/Python/R. Experience with remote sensing and/or ML is a plus.
Highlights:
- Fellowship: ₹37,000/month (enhanced to ₹42,000 after 2 years)
- 2 years at BITS Pilani + 2 years at IISER Tirupati
- Expected joining: 01 August 2026
- Mode: Online interview
