Dear Colleagues,

We would like to invite you to submit an abstract to our session "Causal Inference in Hydrology: Inter-comparisons, Applications, and Future Avenues". We call for contributions that advance our understanding and promote the discussion on causality in hydrological processes, global warming, and/or extreme events (e.g., droughts and floods), and in the integration of artificial intelligence/machine learning and causality. We highly encourage contributions from early-career scientists and researchers from underrepresented minorities. Please, feel free to forward this email to your colleagues, to the students in your research groups, and academic email list. Thanks, in advance for spreading the word.

Thank you for your consideration!

Best,

Mohammed Ombadi
On behalf of myself and session conveners: Peishi Jiang (Pacific Northwest National Lab), Leila Hernandez Rodriguez (Berkeley Lab) and Mark Risser (Berkeley Lab).
