We are delighted to announce a one-day pre-conference workshop on "Advances in Hydrological Monitoring: Field Experimentation in a Himalayan Living Laboratory". 📅 Date: Monday, 22 June 2026 📍 Venue: Indian Institute of Technology, Mandi 🕘 Time: 10:30 AM – 6:30 PM (IST) This one-day workshop is intended for postgraduate researchers, postdocs, and early-career researchers interested in hands-on experience with in-situ measurements of hydrological and eco-hydrological variables in mountainous catchments. It aims to foster an understanding of complex nonlinear catchment processes, with a particular focus on the Himalayan catchments. Key highlights include: * Visit to Experimental Catchment * Demonstration on In-situ soil moisture measurement techniques * On-site demonstration on the river discharge measurement [3 methods] * Hydrological data analysis
