Dear colleagues,
WaterSoftHack 2026 is here! This year, we’re diving into cloud and edge computing, equipping the next generation of water science & engineering researchers with cutting-edge technology & cyberinfrastructure training. Participants will gain hands-on experience running machine learning models in cloud and edge computing environments, learning how to design scalable workflows, deploy models efficiently, and leverage modern computational resources for water research applications.
Application for the 2026 program is now open! 📝
Open: Feb 9, 2026
Close: March 31, 2026
Training Dates: July 21–31, 2026
We encourage grad & undergrad students, postdocs, engineers, professionals, and early-career faculty to apply and join this transformative experience. We’re proud to have trained >350 researchers, engineers, and professionals over the past two years, mentored 27 WaterSoftHack Fellows, and celebrate that three of them have secured tenure-track faculty positions in the U.S. 🎉
💧 Be part of the next generation shaping AI, informatics, & innovative water science & engineering!
A special thank you to National Science Foundation for funding and supporting this project.
Cheers,
--Vidya
