In the framework of the NEXUS-NESS project (Fair and Sustainable Resource Allocation Demonstrator of the Multiple WEFE Nexus Economic, Social and Environmental Benefits for Mediterranean Regions, https://prima-nexus-ness.org/), a 12 months research grant (Assegno di Ricerca) entitled "Analysis and assessment of the Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystem Nexus in the Mediterranean Region through dedicated models" is available at University of Florence, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.
The proposed research activity aims at developing tools and indicators to assess the WEFE Nexus  in 4 Living Labs (located in Egypt, Italy, Spain, Tunisia) addressing local nexus challenges to analyse water-agriculture-ecosystem interdependencies.

Applicants must meet the following specific requirements:
• Master's degree or equivalent;
• Scientific-professional CV responding to the requisites.

I would like to bring to your attention the following workshop being offered at the Vienna University of Technology.


What: MODFLOW and MT3D using ModelMuse freeware

Who: this workshop is intended for students/scientists/engineers with some prior knowledge of MODFLOW (depending on interest, a morning session could be added for beginners)

Where: TU Wien, Karlsplatz 13, 1040 Vienna, Austria

When: July 6th & 7th, 2023

Cost: 50€ for both afternoons (100€ if attending extra morning sessions for beginners)
