Call for Abstracts: AGU Session H120 
Resilience, Vulnerability, and Restoration of Watersheds

Watersheds around the world are increasingly threatened by global change (land-use change, climate change, invasive species) with consequences for nature and humans. This session invites contributions in watershed science that provide insight into the impacts of global change on watersheds, including the resilience and vulnerability of the water cycle, carbon cycle, and related ecosystem services across scales.

Of particular interest: conceptual and regional analyses of nature-based solutions through physical, economic, and social lenses. Studies using ground and areal observations and/or traditional and emerging models are welcome. Topics include, but are not limited to:

1. Hydrology in a changing climate and its impact on biodiversity and people
2. Adaptation to / mitigation of climate change on water yield and quality, carbon storage, and other ecosystem services
3. Decision frameworks that impact watershed management
4. Convergence research integrating social-ecological systems to inform equitable policies, practices, outcomes, and evaluation
