we are organizing an “Ecohydrology Summer School” in June 2024. This is a 4-day training course taking place in Zürich and Sion, co-organized by ETHZ and EPFL from 18th to 21st of June 2024, for MSc and Phd students interested in ecohydrology.
The course is focused on understanding water uptake and partitioning by forest trees and assessing the uncertainties related with these processes. Students will conduct hands-on experiments and data collection at two field sites (WaldLab - https://hyd.ifu.ethz.ch/ecohydlab/waldlab.html & Lägeren https://gl.ethz.ch/infrastructure/sites/laegeren.html) and learn to apply data evaluation techniques and ecohydrological models. Also, this is a great opportunity to exchange with other interested colleagues and lecturers.

The course fees (50 CHF for MSc students and 100 CHF for PhD students) will cover accommodation and transport from Zürich to Sion and some meals during the course.
