Dear colleagues and friends,

(Our apologies for any cross-posting of the following)

We cordially invite you to submit an abstract to our New Session at EGU General Assembly 2026, which will take place on 3-8 May 2026.

Building on the discussions initiated at our EGU24 Town Hall Meeting, this Session provides an unprecedented space to bridge gaps among members of different communities involved in land-surface modeling and to move beyond siloed approaches that are still separating climate, hydrology, and ecosystem modeling. We welcome observational and modeling contributions towards integrated and advanced land-surface models for next-generation climate and Earth system predictions, projections, and impact assessment studies.

Session Title: Crosscutting Advances in Land Surface Modelling: the Climate-Hydrology-Ecosystem Nexus (CL5.8).  Co-organized by  BG9/ESSI1/HS13/NP8
