Please submit your abstract by March 1st and forward to students, colleagues, consultants, government agencies, watershed groups, etc., in your network and encourage them to join you (and sponsor) at this year's AEES conference!

We are pleased to invite you to submit abstracts for the 24th American Ecological Engineering Society (AEES) conference in Blacksburg, VA, hosted by Virginia Tech, May 29-31, 2024. This year’s meeting theme is “Ecological Engineering & Design: Launching a New Era." Abstract submissions will be accepted for oral or poster presentations under the following topics:

Aquaculture and Food Production
Career Development, Extension, and Education
Circular Bioeconomy
Ecosystem Restoration
Emerging Ecological Engineering Technologies
Environmental Justice
Innovative Waste Treatment
Lakes, Reservoirs, and Estuaries
Urban Infrastructure and Ecology
Water-Food-Energy Nexus
Watershed-Scale Approaches
Other

Abstract submission and the conference program development are being handled through Easy Chair. To submit an abstract, click on the "Submission link," which will open a web page where you will need to "Create an account." Be sure to save your login information for any future changes to your abstract. Notification of abstract acceptances will be sent by March 15, 2024.

Student travel grants are available! Please see detailed information posted on the website.
