The International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) is hiring a Specialist – Water Management (Job ID: HQ01830) for its Kerala Climate Resilient Agri-Value Chain Modernization (KERA) project in India, supported by the Government of Kerala and the World Bank.

The position focuses on agro-hydrological modeling, field water management, and development of low-emission irrigation practices in collaboration with Kerala Agricultural University (KAU) in India and international partners incl. Cornell University and Wageningen University.

Qualifications:

• Master’s in Soil & Water Conservation, Water Resources, or Irrigation Engineering

• ≥3 years relevant experience

• Skills in hydrological modeling, digital tools, and field data collection
