Submit short courses (and sessions) for EGU26 before september 16th!

Hi all,

the deadline to submit sessions for EGU26 is coming up (16 september!) This also means deadline to submit Short Courses. EGU26 might seem far away in May '26 in Vienna but we are already working on the program for it.

Did you now anyone can propose a short course? Short courses are the more interactive sibling of regular conference sessions. They are aimed at capacity building in the broadest sense. In the past we've had courses as diverse as "science diplomacy", "Being a scientist and a parent", "publishing in Nature", "Working with OpenStreetMaps", etc.

If you think a topic is missing that geoscientist should now about, propose your own short course now! The list from last year is here:

As incoming chair of Short Courses on the program committee, I'm very much looking forward to all your short course proposals and to seeing you all in Vienna in May 2026 for EGU26!
