Dear Colleagues,
I am pleased to announce that the application deadline for the IAHS Academy has been extended to 31. October 2025!

I want to specifically promote the IAHS Academy course "Assessing Coupled Human-Water Systems". The course is grounded in the findings of the Panta Rhei scientific decade and uses the forthcoming synthesis book "Coevolution and Prediction of Coupled Human-Water Systems" as teaching material.

We warmly encourage you, your colleagues, or your students to explore this exciting opportunity to deepen your understanding of Coupled Human-Water Systems. Please help us spread the word—and consider applying to the Academy!

The IAHS Academy will be held at the Eastern Institute of Technology in Ningbo, China from 12 - 18 January 2026. More information and the IAHS Academy application details can be found here: https://iahs.info/Initiatives/iahs-academy/iahs-academy-2026/

Best regards

Heidi Kreibich
