Ph.D. Position on Drought Research at University of Nebraska-Lincoln

Prospective students, 

We have a Ph.D. opening in our research group (https://roy.unl.edu/) at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) staring in Spring 2022. The topic will be related to machine learning applications on drought analysis and monitoring. Strong background in statistics, machine learning, hydrologic modeling, and coding are essential prerequisites for this project. The student will have the unique opportunity to collaborate with researchers from the National Drought Mitigation Center, which hosts the U.S. Drought Monitor (https://droughtmonitor.unl.edu/).
