Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to invite you to the online workshop “Compaction-induced vulnerability in coastal areas: lessons learned from worldwide investigations”, which will take place on 12 February 2026, from 13:00 to 15:30 CET.

The workshop is organized within the framework of the RESTORE project (https://restore.dicea.unipd.it/) and aims to foster scientific discussion on the vulnerability of coastal and lagoonal morphologies to sea-level rise and land subsidence, through examples and case studies from different regions worldwide, including a focus on the Venice Lagoon in the context of the RESTORE project activities.
