Dear Colleagues,

(Apologies for cross-posting)

I am looking for a postdoc to join my new group at Eawag (the Swiss Federal Institute for Aquatic Research),  with a background in water resources, socio-environmental data science and/or water economics. The research topic is very flexible with a broad focus on the modelling and/or analysis of coupled human water systems. Current research within our group include (among others) (i) the relationship between water resources and armed conflict, (ii) the food-security implications of migration, trade, and global land acquisitions, (iii) the relationship between water security and human rights in the context of extractive industries, (iv) transboundary governance of internationally shared rivers and aquifers and (v) the detection and attribution of socio-hydrologic change in data-scarce environments. The position will be based in Dübendorf (Switzerland) with attractive salary and benefits and is ideal for a scholar seeking to develop their own research ideas with a view of entering the academic job market. The position start date would be September 1 2023 or later and the deadline to apply is July 5.

If you know of anybody that might be interested, please send them my way! They can contact me at mmul...@nd.edu  and/or apply directly on this link.

Thanks in advance and I hope you are all doing well!
Marc
