Masters of Science in Earth System Dynamics and Evolution

Dear colleagues,

 

We are happy to announce a new international Masters of Science in Earth System Dynamics and Evolution beginning this October 2026 in Erlangen, Germany.

 

The two-year program will provide training in Earth system science and science diplomacy, with an emphasis on interdisciplinary research. The program is funded by the Elite Network of Bavaria and is a collaboration between Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU), where the program is based, and the University of Bayreuth (UBT). Funds are available for students to join field trips, attend conferences, and learn German. The application deadline is July 15.

 

Students interested in different aspects of the atmosphere, biosphere, geosphere, or hydrosphere can choose from a wide range of elective courses to match their interests.
