Apologies for crossposting.

Dear colleagues,
with my group at TU Berlin/ECDF, we are launching this week the fifth edition of our online lecture series on “Advances in Water Management and Climate Adaptation”. In this edition, all guest lectures are going to be offered via zoom starting on Thursday (October 30th) with a guest lecture by Bruno Brentan (Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais), who will present his research on "Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence applied to Water Resources Management". I hope this can be of interest for some of you/your students/colleagues and would appreciate if you can forward it further.

In eight episodes planned on Thursdays between October 30th, 2025 and January 15th, 2026, we will host different researchers from international universities, research institutions, and technology centers that will present cutting-edge research, projects, lessons learned, challenges and visions on water resources management and climate adaptation. Everyone is welcome to join by registering to individual lectures using the links in the table here:
https://www.tu.berlin/en/swn/study-and-teaching/courses/advances-in-water-management-and-climate-adaptation
After attendance of 6 lectures, participants will be awarded a certificate of attendance. If one wants to enroll for the whole series, please drop me an email.

Here you can find the full description of the lecture series, the amazing lineup of speakers, and registration links: https://www.tu.berlin/en/swn/study-and-teaching/courses/advances-in-water-management-and-climate-adaptation

In attachment you can find the flyer for this week's opening lecture and the map with the first six confirmed speakers.

Feel free to share this info or the attached flyers and join us, everyone's welcome!
Andrea
