Open PhD position Hydrology - TU Delft

Dear all,

I am glad to announce a new open PhD position in River basin Hydrology at TU Delft, Netherlands with starting date 1 November 2026.

We are looking for suitable PhD candidates for research on the aggregated effects of climate change on vegetation-atmosphere coupling and the cascading consequences on groundwater recharge and hydrological extremes. The project will involve data analysis but also a strong component of hydrological model development.

Candidates are expected to have a strong background in (eco-)hydrology and robust computer coding skills.
