I am looking for two PhD candidates to join me for my NWO (Nederlandse Organisatie voor Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek) funded VIDI project in the Hydrology and Environmental Hydraulics Group at Wageningen University & Research, the Netherlands.
You will work together in a team to improve flood forecasting by better considering the generating mechanisms of floods.
The first position focuses on the stochastic and ML-based classification of flood-generating processes
The second position focuses on type-tailored flood modelling.
