Dear colleagues,
We have run into some recurring issues (and frustrations!) when preparing and cleaning this type of data. Motivated by our own experiences, we want to summarize these issues and provide guidance to improve protocols for more efficient data collection and data cleaning. We therefore want to know if other people have the same experiences and would be happy if you could share your experiences with this type of data in a short survey:
We are looking for people who want to share their experiences in long-term data collection as part of university projects, and the cleaning and processing of this data. In particular, we are interested in cases where long term spatially distributed data collection was carried out by different students (i.e., on a shoestring budget, without dedicated technicians).
We have run into some recurring issues (and frustrations!) when preparing and cleaning this type of data. Motivated by our own experiences, we want to summarize these issues and provide guidance to improve protocols for more efficient data collection and data cleaning. The survey will take 5-10 minutes.
