The University of Exeter is recruiting a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to support the work in the Horizon Europe projects QleanUP and UrbaQuantum by designing the architecture of digital platform to integrate modelling and analytics tools, developing customisable visualisation dashboard to monitor, control, and operate systems in key water quality processes, and supporting decision making. The applicant must be familiar with Linux environment, programming languages such as Python, geographical information system and geospatial analytics tools, as well as existing IoT standards (e.g. FIWARE) and Digital Twins applications, and human machine interface to establish orchestration mechanisms that can collect/connect data from multiple sources, process data to enable interoperable applications, and present data to help managers determine the optimum solution in terms of system efficiency and effectiveness.
