The Secret Life of Soil: Biofilms, Flow, and Hidden Pollutants

 

Join the InterPore Academy for an engaging webinar with Xiaofan Yang, Professor at Beijing Normal University. In this talk, Prof. Yang will take us beneath the surface to explore the hidden dynamics of soil systems.

The webinar will shed light on how microbial biofilms form and interact with flow in soil and water, and how emerging pollutants such as microplastics influence these processes. Using models and simulations, Prof. Yang will demonstrate how researchers study these otherwise invisible interactions.
