Looking to hire Two PhD students in Coastal Flood Modeling

The Department of Civil Engineering of Florida International University, located in Miami, Florida, USA, has two fully-funded PhD student positions on modeling of storm surge and coastal flooding using tools such as TELEMAC and HEC-RAS. Additionally, the research will encompass urban flooding analysis, specifically considering roadway infrastructure such as bypasses, tunnels, and a range of barriers. Applicants with expertise in AI/Machine learning will be given preference for these positions.

The research will involve urban flooding including roadway infrastructure such as highways, bypasses, and a range of barriers. Expertise in AI/Machine learning is a plus for this position. US citizens, green card holders or students already in the USA will be given preference.
