Starting a Bookmobile Initiative

Hello, everyone-

Our library is at the beginning stages of trying to start a bookmobile program. We are not 100% sure where to start to make it happen. Would anyone be able to give a little insight on what first steps should be in your experience? Also, were there particular grants or funding sources (library specific or otherwise) that helped you all get your programs off the ground? We are trying to figure out what pool of resources would be good to pull from to get started.
