2019 Competitive math & Physics on Friday

Our talented math/physics middle and high schoolers (all AIME qualified) continue to support EV Math Circle with Aborn Institute! One of the Main Coaches in 2019 spring semester will be Mr. Matthew G who has been accepted by MIT in ED. He did brilliantly in all major Math and Physics competitions, like USAMO, HMMT, SMT, PUMAC, WWTBAM, USAMO, USAPhO, and USACOP. He achieved Gold in USAPhO, Qualifier in USAMO, Finalist in WWTBAM, and 2015 California Champion in Mathcounts Competition. AI Competitive Math Class on Friday in 2019 Spring, 3:30-5:30pm at MT. P High School, near YMCA on White Road. Course Outline ( 1) on Math for the first half of spring semester, and physics will be in the last half of spring semester. Class Format for math session: Around 30 minutes for a short quiz on the previous week’s material - helps students review the concepts they learned the previous week so that they can have those concepts more deeply ingrained Around 30 minutes for quiz/homework review and solutions Around 1 hour for lecture with Q&As on new material Curriculum and Class Schedule/Plans: Trigonometry Geometry/Conics Polynomials/Newton’s Sums Complex Numbers Analytic Geometry Combinatorics Sequences and Series Combinatorics Revisited Number Theory Diophantine Equations
