Location: Montreal Botanical Gardens
This special event is a rare opportunity to experience an important indigenous healing ceremony, the sweat lodge. It is open to medical students and interested members of the Aboriginal Health Interest Group. Students will learn about indigenous healing traditions, the meanings and uses of the sweat lodge, and will participate in the ceremony themselves.
