Hi all, as so many people have requested the 28th, we are setting Sunday
28th April as the definite date for the social. Sorry if this is a let
down for anyone :(
Times will be from 12.00 noon til whenever you're fed up. Just roll up
when it suits you any time after 12.00, which gives us time to do the
animal routines etc.
I will make lunch for everyone - probably soup, sarnies and cake, to suit
veggies and carnivores.
Looking forward to seeing anyone who can make it.
Julie and Gordon Wall

Just for those who don't know where we are;

Directions to our house (AB45 2HX if you want to use google maps or have
sat nav)

Coming from Huntly. (Twelve and a half miles);

At the island on the A96, head for Aberdeen.
Less than 1 mile along the road there is a Turning for Banff on your left
(just past the petrol station)
Take this road and continue for 8 or 9 miles until you see the turning for
Cornhill on your left.
Take this road and continue along it until just past the turning to
Ordiquhill - roughly 3 miles.
(do not take this turning, I'm just giving you a landmark)
Slow down when you see the Ordiquhill turning as you are only a 100 yards
or so from our road end.
We are on the right hand side. There is a sign for 'Reidside croft' at the
road end and several wheely/recycing bins at the road end too.
We are 1/3 mile down this track and there are large black gates with
'North Finnygaud Steading' on a sign.
We will leave the gates open so you can drive straight in.

Coming from Turriff.(Twelve miles);

Take the road to Aberchirder and follow it all the way to the end.
Turn left and you can either follow the road until you see a turning
signposted Cornhill on the right (about 1/2 mile), or cut through the
village and follow the road to the end, then turn right. Either way this
will take you to the same road.
Follow this road to the end and turn right again.
Continue for about a mile and a half until just past the turning to
Ordiquhill.

Coming from Banff.(Ten and a half miles);

Take the main 'A'road out in the direction of cullen
Around five miles along this road there is a turning to Keith on the left.
Take this road and follow it into Cornhill.
At the crossroads in Cornhill(next to the 'Gordon arms'), take a left turn
for Aberchirder.
Exactly one and a half miles along this road is our road end, on the left.
There is a sign for 'Reidside croft' at the road end and several
wheely/recycing bins at the road end too. If you reach the turning for
Ordiquhill you have overshot.
We are 1/3 mile down this track and there are large black gates with
'North Finnygaud Steading' on a sign.
We will leave the gates open so you can drive straight in.

Coming from Keith (13 miles)

Take the road to Banff which is opposite the main shopping street in Keith
and follow it all the way to cornhill.
Follow the directions from cornhill given above,
