(arrivals from 2pm, workshops from 4pm)
Where:
Comrie Croft, Braincroft, Crieff, Perthshire PH7 4JZ
We have held a permaculture gathering in Scotland for each of the last 3 years, and last year we sold out within a few weeks of tickets going on sale! So this year, we are going to get bigger and better!
We have chosen Comrie Croft because it is central in Scotland; has permaculture-minded hosts; it has a good bus service - and it is stunningly beautiful. Please book your place soon.
The huge barn will be the main gathering area, and venue for workshops which will also be held in the spacious meeting room and yurts. So there's plenty of space to welcome people from all over the UK and further afield!
But it's not all work no, not at all we want to celebrate the Permaculture Association's 30th Birthday with style! We will kick off Friday evening with a ceilidh and Saturday host a home-grown knees-up (hold onto your kilts!). An acoustic music yurt will be open throughout the days and evenings for permaculture people to slip in open-mic style to fiddle, or hang out and listen to musicians harmonise.
And wait there's more . a sauna! Yes that's right a lovely hot sauna to steam those brain cells to melt all the fantastic information and practical skills you'll be gathering!
It wouldn't be a permaculture gathering if there wasn't going to be delicious food, inspiring people, practical as well as theoretical workshops, and great craic. Though to be honest it's worth coming just for the amazing views!
If you're interested in helping out as crew on site, delivering a workshop, or anything else please email scot...@permaculture.org.uk
This project is supported by Scottish Natural Heritage.
