Hello NE permies!

A chance to see our own Jake Williams on the silver screen - the venue is easy to find, as it's in the big shiny cuboid library that Aberdeen Uni put up a year or two back. Make your way to Old Aberdeen/Aberdeen Uni and it really is very hard to miss.

Just round the corner from our place, but I won't be there :-(

because I'll be in Perthshire talking & learning about coppicing
:-) :-)

Emma

"This is my land" was filmed in my garden, 10(?) years ago. It's on in
aberdeen ,

In collaboration with the Special Collections Centre at the University of
Aberdeen, the Film & Visual Culture department is pleased to present an
on-going series of occasional film screenings in the Sir Duncan Rice Library
Gallery.

http://www.abdn.ac.uk/library/news-events/events/2712/

In the first screening of the series, on 18 April from 6-7:30pm, we show
five early shorts by experimental filmmaker Ben Rivers. The films present a
series of portraits of unconventional lives of people existing, to varying
degrees, in wilderness or isolation. This LUX touring programme has been
curated to coincide with the forthcoming UK release on of Rivers' acclaimed
feature film Two Years At Sea.

................I think this is near kings college?? It doesn't say how
much to get in. The film isn't a 'documentary' it's like a series of wee
scenes. It doesn't mention the word 'permaculture' but there's a bit where
i'm muttering about composting beans tins cos i think the minerals in the
metal must be good for something.
