Hello all
The Chinese lantern seeds that I sowed have germinated very well. So I have about 20 spare seedlings if anyone wants them. Apparently you can eat the berries.
Or could wait for plant swap date but don't have a note of when it is.

Steve

Hi Steve, and anyone else who had an interest in taking part in a plant swap,

We had a bit of a set-back ourselves as regards plants for swapping unfortunately. The flash snow spell drove the mice indoors to our polytunnel where they had a field day feasting on all our seedlings so we have to start all over again. This means we have no plants to swap/share with anyone, so the best I could offer is to host it I'm afraid.

If anyone wants to do this then maybe you could declare an interest here in the e-group so we can all decide if it is worth going ahead or not.

We will be able to share cuttings from our currants, gooseberries and hybrids later in the year as promised at the seed swap, so if any of you wanted any it would help if you could let me know so I can make a list.
Cheers, Julie :)
