Remembering Richard Norland's statement: "Georgians were treating Abkhazians and Ossetians the same way as Russians were treating Georgians..."

November 2013 - Richard Norland (-former- U.S. ambassador to Georgia]: "Georgians were treating Abkhazians and Ossetians the same way as Russians were treating Georgians and Georgia will have to apologize for the mistakes of the past."

As historian Stanislav Lakoba said, Abkhazia is somewhere between a hammer and an anvil. Throughout the 19th and 20th centuries, Abkhazia was subjected to both Russian imperialism and Georgian imperialism and its nasty nationalism.
