The biosand filter turns 30 this year! Based on the research we conducted earlier this year, the biosand filter has been built more than 1.7 million times in more than 60 countries, bringing safe water to tens of millions. The success of the biosand filter would not have been possible without you and we want you to join in the celebration. 

Please go to cawst.org/bsf30 to see all the ways we are recognizing this important milestone and please join us by doing one or more of the following: 

1. Celebrate with us. Download the communications kit on the Share tab. You’ll find a fact sheet, social cards, posters and logo that you can use to tailor for your own materials. 
2. Use the #BSF30 hashtag so we can help track anything you do and amplify it!
3. Have a biosand filter success story? Tag us, send it to us and share it online. 
4. If you have questions or stories we can share, we’d also love to hear from you at me...@cawst.org. 

Finally, make sure you don’t miss the map to view where in the world you can find biosand filters. The data is a result of surveys conducted by CAWST in 2013, 2022 and 2023.
