Thank goodness for Friday.  All reports seem to be glowing in praise for the display.  I talked to a friend who was there, and he said it was the best display he had seen in over 2 years!  Was it really that good?  27 shots at goal.  Foster leaving the grass bare on the left flank.  A player with a hat-trick (when was the last time?).

It also helped anaesthetise me a little from the Rugby result – which (although a different topic) was completely gut wrenching.

It’s good to have a high before the international break, but it would have been better not to have to break the run of games after that performance.

Yeah, looks like it finally came right, but we've had a lot of false dawns. They need to keep performing like that - and not just against a pretty lacklustre Pars team. Foster did look outstanding and his crosses into the box were excellent, especially for Vernon's first.

Has Craig finally found the right starting 11? Will he be able to motivate them like that every week, or should we line up a succession of previous managers to announce that the players aren't good enough the day before every match?
