I see Brown has said that he intends to bring back Foster for next season - I guess one of the number of reasons we are releasing McNamee. A good thing in my opinion. Am surprised the list hasn't picked up on this given the way Foster divides opinion.

Also see that Young is released. Am not too fussed as he is simply a utlity player who would struggle for a place when all players are fit. However, he has been a fabulous servant to the club and I wish him all the best in finding another club. Farewell Young cubed.

Glad about Ricky. He's a better player than he gets credit for. Sad for Deek. Was just saying yesterday that if he had the ability to go with his workrate and attitude, he'd be playing for Scotland.

Let's just agree to disagree about Foster yeah. Nowhere near good enough for an aspiring Dons 1st XI.

Genuinely surprised about Young. You say he’s not got the ability – maybe not to be a really top player – but he doesn’t make many mistakes and is versatile. If we get a serious upgrade, fair enough. Otherwise, I’d have kept him around.
