Buddhist Group update

[Aberdeen Buddhist Group]

Hi everyone

 

A few bits of news from the Aberdeen Buddhist Group. Our meeting to discuss the future and affiliation of the group essentially decided that we would like to stay as much as possible the way we have been for the last few years, but felt that we should make what that is a little clearer. As a result we have written a page about the group to go on the website and to be made into a handout for newcomers to the group. The draft text is attached - any comments would be welcome.

 

The group will be taking a summer break during the school holidays this year, covering most of July and the first 2 weeks of August. The last meeting before the break will be on the 4th of July, with Ian's talk 'Buddhism and Helicopters', re-rescheduled from last week.
