Howdy again!
The first sign of A Beard of Snails'ean activity in five months manifests itself thusly —
A split 7" between Caligine and The End Springs, released today
Caligine "Gelsomini e Rintocchi (per Antoinet)" (3:43)
The End Springs "All the Clouds and Orange Sky (for Samantha)" (3:03)
Caligine (Italy; seemingly nomadic) and The End Springs (U.K.) each
provide idyllic instrumental acid folk-tinged visions for this short but
sweet split. Intimate acoustic-electric morning music for the odious chill or
mesmeric swelter of whenever. Both pieces are, coincidentally, of a
dedicatory nature... but these are for you as well.
Limited to a 100 copies in all; 91 on black... with a precious 9 on marbled gray-ish vinyl. Each record with individually hand stamped center labels, and front cover iconography by Phil French. Oh, and a download card.
Indeed, but just 3 of the few "commercial copies" of the marbled records remain, as of typing. They're not listed online, so if you want a non-black 7-inch phonographic record, e-mail me! The cover art is the same on both editions; a download card is also included here.
Prices Denmark: record = $7 + shipping = $2... $9 total Europe: record = $7 + shipping = $3... $10 total Everywhere else: record = $7 + shipping = $5... $12 total
The black 7" is only $3 + the same shipping rates
Storenvy?!
That link again: site http://abeardofsnails.storenvy.com The chance to implement a new shipping price system has been utilized. It may seem complicated, but Storenvy totals it all up for you. A bit better
suited/advantageous for larger orders, as "each additional item" shipping fees are much lower...
I'm not super familiar with the Storenvy system yet, but it doesn't look like you have to be registered to shop there. Seems you do need to enter shipping info (even though the info is already attached to your PayPal account, and e-mailed to me when an order has been placed.) If you'd rather e-mail me for a total + item(s) you want to buy, again, holler.
By the way, I don't plan on changing the Metaphysical Circuits shop design/prices/shipping rates any time soon, even though the site is not responsive (all-resolution friendly, no horizontal scroll bars, etc.) Technologically Whirled.
'til next time (hopefully soon... considerably less than 5 months), Christian
