Hello,
Five new tapes are out! All solo (w/ a couple of "guest samples")
stuff from yours truly. All ridiculously limited ( even to this
label's standards) editions, as I don't want these to stay in the
catalog/overshadow higher profile A Beard of Snails releases for too
long. But I had to do something with the tiny amounts of various tapes
I had lying around, so, here:
Inhibitionists c20 (loud software synth and toy keyboard over analog
loops)
Skin Revisionists c5 (warped vocal based weirdness)
Les Bicyclettes De Belize c30 (three-string guitar improvisations in a
Noyes/Orel vein)
and two Pacific Mausoleum tapes - a messy/noisy c30, and a more
oscillatin'/dronin' c40

For the usual '5 items for €25' deal to actually be a good deal, if
you order all five above mentioned tapes (a €23 value), I'll throw in
the recent Fugleøen c30 (which no one has yet!) free.

On November 11, from 11:11 AM to 11:11 PM Central European Time
(that's 5:11 AM-5:11 PM Eastern U.S. time, 9:11 PM-9:11 AM [Nov 11-12]
Sydney time, etc.,... according to the internet) I'll be holding an
insane sale!
You guessed it: 11 CD-Rs or 7"es (sorry, no LPs, as they're more
expensive to send, and I'm already losing money on them by not
charging extra for shipping; not sure if I'll include tapes) for...
€11.11! (That's currently less than $16/£10!)
Is my fascination with the number/date obvious enough? :-)
Let's see how it goes! I might only get 2 or 3 orders, or might have
to make adjustments (price/amount reductions) during the 12 hours the
sale is on, if items permanently go out of stock. Just thought I'd
prepare you in advance...
Right now, most titles in the A B of S catalogue are down to single-
digit amounts, and a lot of them might not be around in a fortnight!
Should have more new CD-Rs out on or before 11/11/11, though.
(Caligine, Hvasseline, The Big Drum in the Sky Religion, and a trio of
3"es [in 'Where I First Laid Ears on You'-style packaging] from The
End Springs, Balder-, and Skin Revisionists. At least.)
On the analog front, I'm s-t-i-l-l unsure when the Saturn Finger/
Balder-/The Old Rig/Hobo Cubes double 7" will be in my possession. "In
the next days", to quote the pressing plant.
The Small Things on Sunday LP and Pregnant Spore/nodolby one-sided LP
are "making progress" (possibly late December, but more likely January/
February-ish 2012), while tapes from Spittle Sisters, Hands of the
Small, and Dope are close(r)...
