Hello again,

Three new miniatures marvels were made available today...

ABOS3-070: Birdengine "I Like Totally Do Not Understand or Whatever
E.P." 3"
The talented Mr. Lawry Tilbury, aka. Birdengine, blesses us with a
little disc of big songs - five dark, enchanting stories - lyrically
sublime, vocally compelling, musically far transcending the
conventions of "folk" and "singer/songwriter". A companion to the
imminent / eminent "The Crooked Mile" LP/CD on Bleeding Hearts Records
(actually, the E.P.'s songs were originally recorded for the LP, but
the artist felt they did not fit), "I Like..." is presented in a hand
made, hand stamped/stencilled cover, held together with string.

ABOS3-066: Scared Crow "Love in a Dream" CD-R
Warm and fuzzy like a good sweater or record (ahem, CD-R) should be,
Odense scene staple Kasper Aagaard's 27½ minute debut displays smokey
late '70s/early '80s Manchester cavern soirée vibes, with crooned
vocals (S. Walker meets Edwyn C.?) over or beneath mondo catchy garage-
gaze loops. Comes in a handpainted/stencilled Arigato Pak.

All tracks (also) available for d/l from SC himself: http://scaredcrow.bandcamp.com

ABOS3-081: Fugleøen "Broer Mellem Lufthuller" c30
Cleaner and more accessible than last year's "Prøvesprængninger" 3" -
yet with all the whimsy and looseness intact - this whole half hour
odyssey coughs up quasi new age plonkers, vicious un-gabber benders,
and jaded mini Moog action tunes. Limited to 11 copies.

Still on the horizon (lots more late(r) this month) = tapes from
Spittle Sisters, Hands of the Small, Dope, Pacific Mausoleum, CD-Rs
from Caligine, Black Velvet Stereo, The Big Drum in the Sky Religion
(among the last 13 CD-R releases A Beard of Snails will do, before
going all analogue), and vinyl from... yeah, I've mentioned 'em a-
plenty; the pressing plants are taking their time... longer than I
thought I / you would have to wait... fingers 'n' toes crossed.

Best wishes,
Christian
