Kurtz Psychology Consulting, a major training center of Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), is available to provide low fee or pro bono PCIT treatment to a limited number of interested and qualified families. PCIT is a gold standard treatment option for young children who exhibit challenging and disruptive behaviors. Families who have children between the ages of 2 to 6 with impairing disruptive behavior symptoms may be qualified to receive PCIT treatment. Children with oppositional defiant disorder (ODD) and/or ADHD often benefit from PCIT; however, no specific diagnosis is required. PCIT is a weekly commitment for both children and their caregivers and can be provided with equal effectiveness in both virtual and in-person formats.
Interested therapists or families can reach out directly to in...@kurtzpsychology.com or call (212) 658-0110 x 122. A complimentary informational call will be provided to ensure that PCIT is likely an appropriate treatment method for the family.
We are licensed in NY, NJ, FL, DE, VA and several other states.
