We are thrilled to announce the 3rd Northeast Regional Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) Conference

 

Who: All PCITers, who are already certified or working towards certification in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)

What: 1-day conference co-produced by Kurtz Psychology Consulting and Montefiore Health System.

Where: Tishman Learning Center, Montefiore Hospital, Moses Campus, Bronx, NY - easily accessible by public transportation

When: Friday, April 3, 2020 from 8:45am-4:15pm

Why: To share with you the most current empirically-informed practical information to enhance your PCIT skills.  This is also a great chance to earn the required PCIT International CEs for your recertification. Attendees will be able to earn up to 5.0 PCIT CEs for the day.

Featured Keynote Speaker: Cheryl McNeil, PhD, is a world-renowned PCIT Master Trainer and phenomenal presenter. She is a co-author of the Handbook of Parent-Child Interaction Therapy and a co-author of two of the newest PCIT textbooks on PCIT adaptations for toddlers and for children on the autism spectrum.

 

Other Featured Speakers: Several other fantastic PCIT Master Trainers will be speaking including Rhea Chase, Melanie Fernandez, Josh Masse, and Robin Gurwitch, as well as Level 2 trainer Kelly O’Brien and Level 2 Trainees Alexandra Barnett and Kate Gibson.

Dr. Kurtz is the founder of Kurtz Psychology Consulting and a PCIT International Master Trainer. Dr. Kurtz is the developer of PCIT Adapted for Selective Mutism. Dr. Pimentel is Chief of Child and Adolescent Psychology, Associate Director of Psychology Training and Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Montefiore and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She launched and is Director of the Anxiety and Mood Program (AMP), a specialty training program in the Child Outpatient Psychiatry Department.
